S37B – Liquid Biopsy Methods for Non-invasive Cancer Detection & Characterization

Blood-based liquid biopsy for veterinary applications will be introduced, including a review of the current clinical approach to cancer diagnosis, and opportunities for cell-free DNA based liquid biopsy testing in the veterinary setting. Multiple clinical use cases for liquid biopsy in cancer detection will be described, including screening for early detection; aid in diagnosis; and monitoring for residual or recurrent disease.
