• Description: A blood-based “liquid biopsy” test for cancer detection in dogs became clinically available in 2021 and has been used in thousands of dogs since that time. This testing offers owners a safe and non-invasive way to test for cancer in the hope of finding the disease early, when there are more options for treatment. For working dogs, early detection of cancer has the potential to lead to more happy and healthy working years. This session will review real-world data showing the performance of liquid biopsy in common working dog breeds.
